Join our organization as a Nursing Assistant (NA), providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and collecting non-invasive specimens.
- Supporting residents with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Assisting with meals, snacks, and creating a positive dining experience.
- Providing psychosocial support and encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.
- Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes to the nursing team.
- Supporting housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean environment.
Qualifications and skills include:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in progress.
- Ability to follow infection prevention and control policies and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain accurate documentation.
- Commitment to ongoing education with annual continuing education credits.
This role may involve driving responsibilities and requires appropriate licensing and medical qualifications if applicable.
