Seeking a Nurse Supervisor for 2nd shift at a facility committed to ethical care and community impact.
Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing staff, providing resident care, and communicating with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers to meet residents’ needs.
Primary Duties:
– Ensure quality care through ongoing assessments and interventions
– Assist in care planning to promote residents’ health and independence
– Supervise and evaluate nursing staff
– Communicate with healthcare providers to coordinate care
– Maintain documentation and records
– Assist with staff evaluations, orientation, and resident/family education
– Manage staffing shortages and coordinate admissions
– Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
– Participate in meetings and provide resident coverage
Requirements:
– Valid Illinois RN license
– Prior supervisory experience preferred
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work 24-40 hours, including every other weekend and holidays
– Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs
– Knowledge of infection control and PPE use
