Seeking a Nurse Supervisor for 2nd shift to oversee nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and coordinate with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising nursing staff, performing resident assessments, and planning care to promote health and independence.
- Communicating with physicians, updating progress notes, and managing care across various nursing levels.
- Assisting with staff evaluations, orientation, and resident/family education.
- Managing staffing schedules, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing resident coverage when needed.
Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work 24-40 hours weekly, primarily from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle lifting, standing, and exposure to potential hazards.
