This position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, assisting with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current Tennessee licensure, national certification in a nursing specialty, and continuing education. Certification in prescriptive authority, ACLS, and BLS is required.
Must have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, with critical acute care experience preferred. Skills include assessment of critically ill patients, intubation, central and arterial line placement, ventilator management, and strong communication skills. The role is full-time, dayshift, Monday-Friday, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Pulmonology Unit.
