This Nurse Practitioner role supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients.
In this position, the NP assists with patient admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current Tennessee licensure, national certification in a specialty area, and continuing education.
Prescriptive authority, proficiency in critical care procedures (e.g., intubation, line placements, ventilator management), and ACLS/BLS certification are required.
Preferred candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, especially in critical or acute care settings.
Location: Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Pulmonology Unit.
Schedule: Full-time, Days, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
