This position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, assisting with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program with evidence of continuing education
- Current unrestricted Tennessee licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse, RN, or Physician’s Assistant
- National certification in a nursing specialty area
- Prescriptive authority (DEA number) and proficiency in assessing critically ill patients
- Skills such as intubation, central and arterial line placement, ventilator management
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-3 years of healthcare/medical experience, with critical care experience preferred
This is a full-time day position at Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Pulmonology Unit, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
