This position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, assisting with admissions, rounds, consults, histories, physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing Master’s program or Physician Assistant Studies, current Tennessee licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse and RN or PA, and national certification in a specialty area. Candidates must hold prescriptive authority (DEA), demonstrate proficiency in assessing critically ill patients, and possess skills such as intubation, line placement, and ventilator management. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, with previous critical care experience preferred. The role is full-time, dayshift, Monday to Friday, located at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in the Pulmonology Unit.
