Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Urgent Care Lake Charles (Full-time)

Urgent Care position in Lake Charles, LA for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), full-time with a 7 on/7 off rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include providing primary care services, performing physical exams, managing patient histories, ordering and interpreting tests, administering medications, suturing minor lacerations, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians.

Requirements:

MSN or MPAS and valid Louisiana NP or PA license.

Knowledge of nursing principles, medical equipment, and safety protocols.

Strong communication skills, ability to react calmly in emergencies, and maintain confidentiality.

Work environment involves a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions, physical activity, and exposure to potential hazards. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds and handle continuous standing, walking, and other physical demands.
