Role Overview: An experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is sought to join the NICU team within a regional neonatology division, providing care for critically ill and recovering infants in Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage network NICU coverage, including attending deliveries and managing high-risk infants under 35 weeks
- Conduct admissions, history-taking, physical assessments, and ongoing patient management
- Perform procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tubes, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, and ventilator management
- Collaborate with neonatologists, residents, and nursing staff in a team-oriented environment
- Work flexible shift combinations (8, 16, or 24 hours) without outpatient clinic duties
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification
- Experience in neonatal intensive care and high-risk delivery management
- Proficiency in neonatal procedures and ventilator management
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
