Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a part-time, contract role performing Compensation & Pension Exams for Veterans across the USA, primarily in Rock Springs, WY.
- Duration: 6-12 months with potential extension; start ASAP after credentialing.
- Hours: 1-2 days/week, with possible travel to other WY locations; approximately 16 hours weekly.
- Pay: $70-$75/hour, with flexible scheduling.
- Responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, conducting web-guided exams, completing electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), and submitting documentation within 48 hours. Exams may include musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory assessments, with ancillary tests ordered as needed.
- Qualifications: Master’s in Nursing or approved PA program, active license, primary care experience, and computer skills. VA/compensation exam experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
- Must be able to start within 1 month and be willing to travel as needed.
