Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to perform Compensation & Pension Exams (C&P) for Veterans across various sites nationwide, primarily in Rock Springs, WY. This part-time contract offers 6-12 months with an option to extend, starting ASAP with quick credentialing.
Responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, conducting web-guided exams, and completing electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours. Exams typically last 45 minutes to several hours, covering areas like musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory health. Ancillary tests may be ordered locally.
Qualifications include a master’s in Nursing or completion of an approved PA program, active licensing, and primary care experience. VA or C&P exam experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. Candidates should be flexible, independent, and have basic computer skills.
