Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct outpatient nursing care in an OB-GYN clinic serving women from diverse backgrounds. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, promoting patient-centered care and education on managing health conditions, medications, and post-treatment needs.
Key responsibilities include developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum, and participating in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance. The role requires employing critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree with RN licensure
- No prior experience required, but 2+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree are preferred
- Preferred skills include women’s health, urogynecology, or oncology experience
