Key responsibilities include: setting up equipment, positioning patients, administering radiopharmaceuticals, acquiring quality images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
They will verify orders, review images, and respond to emergencies, maintaining equipment and adhering to infection control standards.
Qualifications required: an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and certifications such as ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, along with BLS.
Skills and competencies: independent judgment, critical thinking, excellent communication, competence in venipuncture, sterile technique, equipment troubleshooting, and adherence to regulatory standards.
The role involves documentation, patient education, quality control, operational support, and teamwork.
