Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Overview:

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control in nuclear medicine, including PET and Theranostics treatments. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently across various settings, and ensuring accurate imaging and procedures.

Key Duties:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Perform studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
  • Support diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, quality control, and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or trade school equivalency; higher education preferred.
  • Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (RT(N) or CNMT).
  • Experience in nuclear medicine, PET, tomography, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Licenses such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, CNMT, or IEMA (Illinois).
  • New grads and upcoming students are encouraged to apply.
