Role Overview:
This position involves performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control tasks. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and works across various sites as needed. They will utilize advanced imaging equipment and techniques such as PET, CT, and Theranostics treatments with dosimetry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform imaging studies independently and during on-call situations
- Utilize advanced imaging modalities for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher)
- Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT (N) or CNMT)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine and 2+ years of experience
- Licenses such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred
- Experience in CNMT, NMT, PET, or related fields is advantageous
