Role Overview:
This position involves performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently—including on-call, portable exams, and at various sites—and utilizes advanced imaging techniques such as PET and theranostics treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings
- Manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with advanced imaging equipment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT (N) or CNMT)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine and 2+ years of experience
- CPR certification and relevant licenses required
- New grads and upcoming students are encouraged to apply
Key Duties:
- Work day shifts with varying start times, with on-call evening, weekend, and holiday rotations
- Prepare equipment and patients for nuclear medicine procedures
- Conduct imaging studies across different sites as needed
