Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Overview:

This position involves performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently—including on-call, portable exams, and at various sites—and utilizes advanced imaging techniques such as PET and theranostics treatments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
  • Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings
  • Manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with advanced imaging equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
  • Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT (N) or CNMT)
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine and 2+ years of experience
  • CPR certification and relevant licenses required
  • New grads and upcoming students are encouraged to apply

Key Duties:

  • Work day shifts with varying start times, with on-call evening, weekend, and holiday rotations
  • Prepare equipment and patients for nuclear medicine procedures
  • Conduct imaging studies across different sites as needed
