We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine and specialized nuclear cardiology and nuclear medicine procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals, acquiring and evaluating images, and providing data for physician interpretation.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing quality control and maintaining equipment calibration
- Reviewing patient history for safety and appropriateness
- Educating patients about procedures
- Conducting radiopharmacy duties such as ordering, dispensing, and assaying radioactive materials
- Assisting with departmental workflows and accreditation processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Valid NYS DOH License (L.N.M.T.)
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- IV certification or eligibility
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move patients as needed
