Job Summary:
Seeking a Nocturnist Physician to provide overnight hospital coverage with responsibilities including
traditional and interdisciplinary rounding, consults, admissions, and management of ICU ventilated patients (procedures are optional).
The role requires proficiency in Epic EMR and certifications such as ACLS, DEA, active North Carolina license, and Board Certification.
The shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a patient census of approximately 15 per shift.
Key Duties & Requirements:
- Provide overnight hospitalist coverage with a focus on patient care and ICU management
- Perform procedures related to interdisciplinary rounding, consults, and admissions as needed
- Maintain required certifications and licensure
- Manage a patient census of 15 per shift in a fast-paced hospital environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Board Certified in relevant specialty
- Active North Carolina State License
- ACLS Certification
- Experience with ICU patients and EMR systems, preferably Epic
