Position Overview
Support community feeding efforts by assisting in warehouse operations through material handling tasks.
Ensure the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse to facilitate loading and distribution.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to transfer products from automation areas to staging zones.
- Inspect products for damages and verify accuracy with shipping labels.
- Perform equipment inspections and document findings.
- Safely lift and handle products weighing between 1-60+ lbs, often from floor to overhead.
- Follow safety procedures, including handling sharp objects and working on various surfaces.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least one year of experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Team-oriented with a passion for supporting community-focused work.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
