Registered Nurse – Level III/IV NICU
Provide evidence-based, compassionate nursing care to high-risk and critically ill newborns in a Level III/IV NICU. Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and manage complex therapies including ventilator support and line management. Continuously monitor physiologic status and respond promptly to changes.
Key duties
- Assess newborn condition, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and manage invasive lines and ventilator-related care.
- Maintain close physiologic monitoring and ensure timely escalation when needed.
- Educate and support families with empathy and clear communication.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary team members.
- Follow strict safety protocols and infection-control standards.
Qualifications & skills
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- Strong NICU clinical judgment with experience caring for critically ill neonates.
- Ability to manage high-acuity therapies, including ventilators and lines.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient- and family-centered care.
- Commitment to safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based practice.
