Role: Assistant Nurse Manager in a Level IIIA NICU.
- Responsibilities: Support department operations including reporting, payroll, service recovery, staff communication, data collection, staff competencies, and regulatory readiness.
– Collaborate with leadership to ensure clinical and service excellence.
– Develop and manage staffing, budgets, and respond to operational changes.
– Analyze patient outcomes, ensure compliance, and lead service recovery efforts.
– Oversee staff performance, training, onboarding, and ensure regulatory and environmental readiness.
– Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
– Lead and develop staff to meet operational goals. - Qualifications & Skills: RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
– Leadership skills, ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and lead staff effectively.
– NICU experience is required; leadership experience is preferred.
– Strong communication, organizational, and regulatory compliance skills.
