Role Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care in an epilepsy monitoring setting through a structured RN residency experience that includes specialty training, preceptorship, simulations, educational sessions, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and deliver individualized, compassionate care
- Administer, monitor, and manage patient medications
- Document nursing care accurately and timely
- Respond to patient needs and support safety and comfort
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding and engagement
- Develop clinical proficiency through guided learning and mentorship
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure
- Strong assessment, medication monitoring, and documentation skills
- Ability to provide clear patient and family education
- Compassionate communication and patient advocacy
- Willingness to learn and apply specialty epilepsy monitoring practices
