Role Overview
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following completion of a nursing program and prior to licensure. They assist in educating patients and families, assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical thinking, and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. The role emphasizes promoting patient safety, quality care, and professional development. Candidates must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed.
