New Graduate Nurse – Full-Time

Role Overview:

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. This role is open to all student nurses, regardless of graduation date, and requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients and families on managing illness, injury, home care, and medication administration.
  • Use critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
  • Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
  • Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • This position is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred: Additional relevant qualifications or experience.
