Role Overview:
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. This role requires completion of a nursing program and obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families on managing illness, injury, and medication administration.
- Apply critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with healthcare team members, promoting patient-centered care.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness; role classified as safety-sensitive.
