Neurology Nurse Manager

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within a rehabilitation unit.

Responsibilities include:

  • Hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting staff development.
  • Developing staffing plans, managing budgets, and responding to operational needs.
  • Providing patient-centered care based on assessments and treatment plans, documenting interventions accurately.
  • Creating collaborative care plans aligned with medical diagnoses and treatments.
  • Monitoring staff productivity, conducting performance reviews, and managing scheduling, overtime, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience: 2-5 years for minimum; 5-10 years preferred, with supervisory experience for higher roles.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
