Neurology Nurse Manager

Role Overview: The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff recruitment, training, assignments, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, responding to business changes.
  • Oversee patient care plans aligned with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, ensuring documentation compliance.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, payroll updates, and communication, including meetings and performance reviews.
  • Ensure department productivity and operational goals are met, with a focus on staff performance and departmental efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of an RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience in neurology or related clinical specialties.
