Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within the standards of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
- Participates in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
- Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe practice at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 2 years of experience recommended. No supervisory experience necessary.
