Job Title: Nurse Extern (Neuro Unit)
Work under RN supervision to deliver bedside patient care in a neuro-focused unit. Assist with neuro assessments, monitor and record vital signs, and support mobility, safety, and patient comfort.
Key Duties
- Provide bedside care and support patient-centered treatment
- Assist with neuro assessments as directed by the RN
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the care team
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention practices
- Collaborate with nurses and other clinicians to support evidence-based neuro care
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a nursing program (nursing student preferred)
- Strong interest in developing clinical skills in neuro care
- Ability to work effectively within a team under RN direction
- Comfort learning and using advanced clinical technology
