Role Overview: A Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is sought to join the Nephrology team, providing inpatient and outpatient care. Prior Nephrology training is not required, as training will be provided. The role involves working in a fast-paced, team-based environment to deliver comprehensive kidney care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inpatient rounding with physician partners
- Assist with outpatient dialysis and inpatient consults for acute kidney injury and electrolyte issues
- Evaluate dialysis patients and manage inpatient dialysis orders
- Support inpatient charting, documentation, and outpatient Nephrology clinics
- On-call duties limited to one weekend per month
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies (required)
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Enjoy working in dynamic inpatient/outpatient settings
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
