Nephrology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Full-Time

Role Overview: A Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is sought to join a Nephrology team, providing inpatient and outpatient care on a busy medical center campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in inpatient rounding with physician partners, including evaluation of acute kidney injury (AKI) and electrolyte issues
  • Assist with outpatient dialysis rounding and inpatient consults
  • Manage dialysis patients and write inpatient dialysis orders
  • Support inpatient charting, documentation, and outpatient clinic visits
  • Handle on-call duties one weekend per month

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies (required); Master’s preferred
  • Training in Nephrology not required, as training will be provided
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
