Role: MRI Technologist I
Responsibilities: Perform MRI imaging procedures (neuro, body, extremity) following radiologist protocols, ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, administer IV contrast, enter data into imaging systems, process images, identify anatomy, conduct equipment quality control, report malfunctions, manage supplies, provide radiological support to physicians, and handle non-controlled medications during procedures.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program with certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT. New graduates must obtain certification before employment. Advancement to higher levels requires additional certification within 24 months.
Skills: Knowledge of MRI processes and safety, patient care, technical imaging skills, equipment maintenance, and effective communication. Ability to act as a liaison and support team members.
