Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves independently conducting studies, managing shift operations, troubleshooting equipment, and mentoring staff and students. The technologist serves as a clinical resource, assists in prioritizing patient care, and ensures smooth workflow. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, overseeing daily operations, and acting as a liaison between staff and supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R) and/or MR
- 2+ years of experience; preferred 5-10 years
- Licenses such as ARMRIT or ARRT; additional certifications like CPR are advantageous
- Experience in leadership roles or advanced imaging modalities is preferred
