MRI Technologist | Full Time

Role Overview: Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes in a fast-paced environment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and adherence to safety protocols. The MRI Tech communicates effectively, demonstrates strong clinical skills, and maintains a positive attitude in high-stress situations with patients, families, and staff. Responsible for ensuring patient safety and executing departmental policies within their scope of practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI scans accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain safety standards and follow hospital policies.
  • Assist in patient positioning and care during procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation and equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Preferably experienced MRI technologists with completion of an accredited MRI program.
  • Advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility preferred.
  • At least one year of radiology or MRI experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is a plus.
  • Must obtain MRI certification within one year if not already certified.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Preferred credentials include ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration.

  • Must be capable of working various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Position does not involve vehicle operation unless specified.
