Role: MRI Technologist I responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and research.
Key Duties: Obtain correct patient information, prepare and position patients, select appropriate imaging protocols, and optimize technical factors while ensuring safety and adherence to ALARA principles. Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and assist with magnetic resonance interventions. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, apply safety principles, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB (with ARRT-MR or equivalent), graduate from a Radiologic Technology training program (Bachelor’s preferred). Demonstrates proficiency in routine and complex procedures, maintains safety standards, and collaborates effectively within a team.
Work Environment: Clinical setting, accountable for compliance with organizational policies.
