Role Overview:
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on MRI, potentially cross-training in other modalities if registered as R.T.(R). The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently and in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
- Preparing patients and equipment for exams.
- Conducting studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate or Trade School education.
- No prior experience required; preferred experience is 2+ years.
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
- Preferred certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including call and holiday rotations.
- Must be willing to cross-train in MRI if registered.
