MRI Technologist

Role Overview:

Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on MRI, potentially cross-training in other modalities if registered as R.T.(R). The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently and in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
  • Preparing patients and equipment for exams.
  • Conducting studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate or Trade School education.
  • No prior experience required; preferred experience is 2+ years.
  • Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
  • Preferred certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including call and holiday rotations.
  • Must be willing to cross-train in MRI if registered.
