Role Overview:
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, and potentially cross-train in other modalities if registered. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
- Prepare patients and equipment for scans.
- Perform studies independently, including portable exams and on-call duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or trade school education.
- No prior experience required; preferred 2+ years for advanced roles.
- Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES are advantageous.
- Licenses like IEMA (excluding MRI) are required.
- CPR and IV therapy certifications are preferred.
Key Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with attention to patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain equipment and ensure quality assurance.
- Participate in call, holiday, and weekend rotations as required.
