MRI Technologist (PRN)
Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to support diagnostic imaging and help physicians deliver quality patient care. Ensure patient safety, maintain comfort and clear communication, and produce high-quality images by following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans using MRI technology and standardized procedures
- Prepare patients for imaging and ensure safe, appropriate positioning
- Monitor patients during imaging and respond to safety needs
- Optimize image quality through proper techniques and parameter selection
- Maintain equipment and assist with quality assurance and documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Training and certification/licensure in MRI technology
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices and patient care
- Ability to operate MRI equipment accurately and efficiently
- Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to image quality
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach and strong communication skills
