Mental Health Therapist

Role Overview: Join a mental health team as a Licensed Therapist to provide culturally sensitive assessments, individual and family outpatient therapy, and develop crisis and wellness plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care, participate in case consultations, and ensure accurate documentation and billing. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strength-based assessments for diverse clients and families.
  • Provide personalized outpatient therapy tailored to client needs.
  • Develop safety, crisis, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and discharge planning.
  • Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms accurately.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff for comprehensive care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Current or eligible professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland.
  • Strong communication, ethical practice, and confidentiality commitment.
  • Passion for mental health, ongoing professional development, and teamwork.
  • Effective time management and administrative skills.
