Mental Health Technician

Recovery Coach

Role Overview: Supports adolescents in their recovery from eating disorders within a residential treatment setting. Collaborates with clients and families to foster healthy skills, understanding, and life navigation free of disorders. Assists with meal support, participates in therapeutic activities, and monitors client progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients through their recovery journey, implementing treatment plans.
  • Encourage healthy client interactions within the milieu and team.
  • Assist with food preparation, meal supervision, and snack support.
  • Engage in therapeutic group activities to promote growth.
  • Conduct rounds, observe clients, and provide necessary documentation.
  • Occasionally transport clients for appointments and activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in mental or behavioral health (required in some states).
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Strong communication, client relation, and team collaboration skills.
  • Service-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.

Additional Details: Part-time position, with preferred days on Sunday/Monday or Wednesday/Thursday. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience and education. On-site role committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
