Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking experienced Senior Mental Health Counselors with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related health field.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct client care through treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of clinical standards and quality services
  • Serving as a resource for other clinicians, offering consultation, education, and mentorship
  • Coordinating services with healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs
  • Engaging in client, family, peer, and community education
  • Maintaining current knowledge aligned with program goals through professional development

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Alaska licensure as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor upon hire
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
  • Advanced clinical skills and ability to mentor staff
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

This role offers full-time, part-time, and per diem positions with shifts including day and variable hours. Compensation includes a competitive pay range, with potential additional incentives, benefits, and professional growth opportunities.
