We are seeking experienced Senior Mental Health Counselors with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related health field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct client care through treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy
- Supporting the development and maintenance of clinical standards and quality services
- Serving as a resource for other clinicians, offering consultation, education, and mentorship
- Coordinating services with healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs
- Engaging in client, family, peer, and community education
- Maintaining current knowledge aligned with program goals through professional development
Qualifications and skills required:
- Alaska licensure as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor upon hire
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Advanced clinical skills and ability to mentor staff
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
