Position Overview

The role involves administering medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders, ensuring safety, accuracy, and dignity. Responsibilities include following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, and reporting concerns promptly. The role also requires completing narcotic counts, maintaining clean medication areas, and adhering to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care

The position plays a critical role in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and safeguarding resident safety through meticulous attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
