Medication Aide / Med Tech

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to prevent errors
• Accurately document all medication passes in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Observe residents during and after medication administration
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for relief
• Report refusals or health concerns promptly
• Conduct narcotic counts per policy and maintain organized medication carts
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
