Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity. This role involves following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting all actions in MAR/TAR in real time.

Key duties include observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, maintaining clean medication carts, and following infection control and safety standards. The role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
