Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Provide compassionate bedside care for post-operative and medical-surgical patients in a surgical unit. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
Key Duties
- Perform focused patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Provide wound care and other targeted clinical interventions.
- Administer medications according to established standards.
- Support early mobility and overall recovery efforts.
- Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active LPN licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills.
- Knowledge of wound care and medication administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care environment.
- Effective communication and patient/family education skills.
- Accurate, detail-oriented EMR documentation.
