Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative goals, communicating effectively across care teams. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.
- Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
