Medical/Oncology – Clinical Nurse (Nights)

Role Overview:

This role involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural values.
  • Maintain safety awareness as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licenses: Valid RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; 2 years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, communication, patient education, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Information:

  • Work primarily during night shifts, including 3-12 hour shifts, with scheduled weekends and holidays.
  • Modified self-scheduling available in 6-week periods.
