Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician

Role Overview: This position involves performing and reporting various laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain productivity, manage multiple processes, handle specimens properly, confirm identification, use accessioning procedures, recognize discrepancies, resolve issues, perform instrument maintenance, replenish supplies, follow reporting protocols, access computer applications, and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Medical Technology) or an Associate Degree with certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Successful completion of competency exams is necessary. Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and familiarity with laboratory procedures are essential.
