Role Overview: This position involves performing and reporting various laboratory analyses, serving as a technical expert, troubleshooting instruments, and assisting with new testing methods.
Responsibilities: Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, interpret specialized tests, ensure quality control, participate in training, and support inventory management. Serve as a technical resource and make operational decisions in the absence of senior staff. Contribute to procedure review and validation of new products and methods.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with preferred certification in medical technology. A minimum of four years’ clinical laboratory experience as an MLS is required. Successful completion of competency exams, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to interpret complex tests are essential.
