This part-time Medical Assistant position is based at the South Campus in the Community Based Pediatrics department, working 24 hours per week with varied hours Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing clinical duties such as taking vital signs, weight, height, and assisting with procedures
- Documenting patient information accurately in EPIC to ensure timely provider notes and encounter closures
- Managing patient flow, room stocking, and test/supply ordering
- Supporting delegated tasks from RNs, nurse practitioners, or physicians
- Providing excellent customer service and collaborating with staff to maintain efficient patient care
Qualifications include:
- HSD/GED required
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program required
- CPR certification preferred at hire or obtained within 2 weeks of start date
Hours are typically Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts that may vary.
